An Argentine company has launched a new, $150 million magnet that’s been making headlines for its unique design and unusual size.
The company, Magnet in Spanish, announced Wednesday it’s starting a $10 million campaign to raise funds for a magnet that can be installed in more than 30 different locations around the world.
Magnet’s design is a mix of copper and silver, a combination that helps the magnet maintain its shape as it is placed on a magnet’s magnetic field.
The company says the magnet’s shape is the result of the interaction of two materials.
The magnet is currently being installed in a bar on the site of the Buenos Aires River, near a busy intersection where a bridge is under construction.
The magnet will be attached to a chain-link fence and is expected to be installed by the end of 2019.
It has become a sensation in the city.
The site was a popular spot for people to hang out in April and May, and the city even held a carnival.
It was so popular, however, that it has since been taken over by an unknown company, which has begun installing the magnets at the site.
The city of Buenos Aires says it plans to install the magnets on a new bridge.
